The race modes in each stage include: Race (standard race against other characters where you must finish third or above), Time Bomb (finish the race before the bomb goes off), Fruit Splat (splat a given number of fruits before the finish line), Versus (head-to-head with one other character), and Champion Chase (battle against the unlockable character where you must win three times to 'own them). All of your favorites are in there, including Stella, Bomb and The Blues. You start Angry Birds Go! as Red Bird in a basic kart and must play through the various race modes in each stage in order to unlock the new character from that stage and open up the next stage (progressing further opens up new content packs). There are even real world toys that can be used with Angry Birds Go!, such as Telepods and a tie-in with Angry Birds Jenga! The game rarely gets boring, thanks to the variety of race modes, drivers, cars, courses, and power-ups. Welcome to downhill racing on Piggy Island! Feel the rush as you fling those freewheeling birds and piggies down the track at breakneck speed – with plenty of twists and turns in a thrilling race to the finish line! But beware! Look out for hazardous roads, mischievous opponents riding your tail and special powers to put the race leader behind the pack.The basic principle of Angry Birds Go! is simple - get around each track as fast as you can. I can't imagine it can hold the 4 star rating for long. There just isn’t enough there for me and if I am being honest, the Angry Birds thing is so played out that they really needed something new and original, like Bad Piggies. Aside from the Angry Birds theme and some well-planned marketing, if you have played Mario Kart, you have already played this. Of course you can also buy upgraded cars and more in game and connect socially. The controls are either tilt or touch, the graphics are great and you can even buy the physical toy cars, scan them and play your toy car in the game. They built a dynasty and these guys can program a game! It’s a lot of fun racing the Angry Birds if you still love them. You have to give it to Rovio, the creator of Angry Birds.
